As a long term partner, Anthem Properties engaged Periphery with the task of executing a trilingual digital campaign for their Coquitlam development, composed of a South and North Tower, expanding their audience reach to promote their development to the Chinese and Korean markets in the area.

Creating multilingual content is no job for Google Translate — they needed to ensure their ads were culturally-fluent and deeply resonated with this audience to obtain the desired results.

Our Process

After the great success of their Georgetown project, Anthem approached us to promote their master-planned community SOCO in the heart of South Coquitlam with targeted digital ads. After determining SOCO's place in the market and defining their target audience, we got to work with developing a holistic strategy encompassing the SOCO brand.

Deliverables

We created Facebook ads in English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and Korean. Our Google Ads consisted of search, display, Gmail, and YouTube placements. Knowing Facebook and Google can only be accessed by those outside of China due to the government’s firewall on many large social networks, we also ran display ads & advertorials on WeChat.

Results

SOCO became one of Metro Vancouver's best-selling communities in 2020, with its South Tower selling 80% in just 60 days and a total of 385 homes sold overall since launch.
