01. Background

Audi Capilano, a north shore based dealership that has been serving customers for over 15 years, knows that keeping its edge on the market means adapting to new technologies as well as changing markets. As the north shore continues to evolve, Audi Capilano realized that they were not addressing their budding Chinese community. Faced by two other Audi dealerships in Richmond and on boundary serving the Chinese community, Audi Capilano chose to work with Periphery Digital to enter the Chinese market with strength.

Periphery Digital took on the project of giving Audi Capilano a strong Chinese market presence by integrating their marketing and sales strategies with the Chinese media platform WeChat. To give new customers a more diverse range of payment options our team registered Audi Capilano with WeChat Pay and AliPay, this allows them to accept overseas financial transactions. By securing WeChat Pay and AliPay financial services, Audi Capilano also gained a great new marketing asset to promote and emphasize their commitment to a more diverse range of customers and innovative technologies in the business world.

02. Strategy

Periphery set up an officially verified WeChat account for Audi Capilano, this allowed Audi’s official Chinese name to be tied to their account making it searchable for any person on WeChat. We are proud to say that Audi Capilano is now the only dealership in Canada with this exceptional search function and the only automobile dealership in North America with an official verified account under their incorporation.
